'SMJFL Media Day' - Casting Call
The SMJFL is hosting an exiting new event in 2017. Based on successful models, we will work with Red Onion Creative to capture content (photos and videos) to be used during the year, for specific campaigns, recognition rounds, events and functions.
What do clubs need to do? Please save the date - Tuesday 4 April.
More information to be communicated once confirmed.

On the day we will require at least 4-6 players from each club (1 boy and 1 girl, from U8-10, U11-13 & U14-18). Start having a think about who you will ask, as this is in school holidays we are hoping for a great turn-out. Naturally, we'd like enthusiastic, talkative kids from a diverse range of cultural backgrounds to be considered by clubs when extending invitations. There will be multiple 'stations' for video and photography scenes. Attendees will be given certain scheduled times to ensure people aren't required for a full day, and to reduce wait times.
Club presidents, committees and volunteers will also be invited to have their time in the spotlight and contribute to valuable content for league digital projects. AFL Clubs, corporate partners and key stakeholders will be in attendance.
Any ideas for creative videos or photos - send them through to!
Initial Gradings Feedback - Reminder
Further to the Initial Pre-Season Gradings that were provided in Secretaries' Scoop - Edition 3 (31 Jan), clubs are now asked to provide feedback via the Footyweb system no later than Friday, 10 March. Please click here for details on how to provide feedback.
