125 volunteers, gettin' their kicks --
by giving back!

Volunteers from 26 states and more than 55 companies roll up their sleeves in  Williams, AZ and Grand Canyon National Park this month to accomplish a huge amount of work -- saving thousands of dollars in labor and months of time for the City of Williams, US Forest Service and National Park Service.

Our volunteers braved the elements from perfect sunshine days to freezing rain, always keeping their end goal in mind -- to make a positive impact in these iconic tourism communities. This is their story!

Welcome from the 26th President Teddy Roosevelt himself! Bully!

Highlights from our two days of volunteering:
  • Three major painting projects completed at the Visitors Center, City Hall and Rodeo Grounds - covering nearly 14,000sq ft and using more than 65 gallons of paint!
  • 3 miles of trails cleared and nearly 250 invasive trees removed
  • More than a dozen large trail marker signs repainted - helping visitors navigate their way through Kaibab Forest trails
  • 450lbs of micro-trash eliminated from Grand Canyon National Park - that's an average of 6lbs per participant - and who knows how many California Condors saved as a result
At the end of the two days, nearly $50,000 was donated to our project communities in Northern AZ.

Our volunteers rendition of "Ring of Fire" - ending the day in Williams on a high note!
