BOOKING FLIGHTS

This is the biggest key factor for this first update as there are some very major factors you need to know before booking your flight:
 

• Arrival day is Saturday February 25th
• You have 2 options for your shuttle pickups: Downtown Christchurch OR Christchurch Airport
• There is a 1hr 20min drive to take you out to the mountains where your first 2 nights accommodation and racing are. 
• If you are flying in, then you need to fly into Christchurch International Airport (CHC is the airport code)
• You will need to land no later then 4pm that day. This will allow enough time to make dinner and the event briefing that night
• Shuttles will leave from the airport as they become full on Feb 25th
• If you arrive to Christchurch before Feb 25th or by vehicle, then we will also be doing shuttle pickups from downtown at the YMCA Backpackers in Christchurch (12 Hereford St) around 11am

• Departure day is Friday March 3rd.  You will have 2 options: Get the shuttle back to Christchurch (6hr shuttle drive) and get dropped in the city or at the airport OR stay in Queenstown for some extra time to check it out and enjoy some other adrenaline tours and activities! If you take this second option then you are then on your own from that point forward.
• If you get the shuttle back to Christchurch you can't book your flight out any earlier then 4pm as the shuttles won't make it back until the earliest 2pm giving you a few hours leeway to get there and check in for your flight.  
• Your bike bags/boxes go in storage when you first arrive and you will get them back in Queenstown on this departure day

1. Flock Hill Lodge (backpackers style and 2 to 4 bedroom cabins for pamper package) and will be the hub of the event and where all meals will be.
2. Allistair Lodge is all backpacker style (its out the back of Castle Hill Village) and sleeps 40 riders and is a 3min ride from where day 1 finishes.
3. Then a few of you will be put up in the Bach's (ski chalet/houses) in Castle Hill Village where day 1 finishes.
