Each year as December draws to a close, we at DreamWakers reflect on the wise advice, inspiration, and encouragement our students received from incredible #DreamSpeakers over the past 12 months. In 2020, in spite of all the unanticipated hurdles we collectively faced, flashchats continued to be a source of positivity and empowerment. Throughout unique and unpredictable circumstances of 2020, the DreamWakers community has been a beacon of light, demonstrating adaptability and creativity, while modeling resilience for our students. Educators, speakers, and supporters — you! — have been unwavering in your commitment to inspiring the next generation to dream big for their futures. 

Thanks to this community, in 2020 we have: 

• connected more than 5,000 students with career professionals;
• partnered with 80+ schools from around the US;
• surpassed our $25k Fall fundraising goal supporting us to expand our impact; and
• hosted 280 flashchats!

2021 is a year of promise, and we look forward to continuing our partnership with you to narrow the opportunity gap for students in under-resourced schools and to awakening students' dreams across the U.S. in 2021. Thank you for your ardent support in a year when it's mattered the most.
