Come celebrate with me!! This is my birthday month, and this year, I just turned 50, so I'm having a "Health Party"! My passion for health and helping others on their journey to health, led me to put together a seminar titled My Journey to Health. We have some amazing stories of people who have beat the odds, and we want to share our experience and knowledge with you.
Health Professionals Speak
I will be sharing the story of my battle with my battle with endometriosis, hypothyroidism, adrenal fatigue, and continual back pain. It took me years of struggling to be pain free, but now at 50, I have more vitality and health than when I was in my 20’s. My own experience propelled me to become a Master Herbalist in order to help others. At the seminar, I will be sharing information on the two vital components to health and vitality.
Vickie Anderson is a Dr. Sears Certified Health Coach with 10 years experience as a health educator on whole food nutrition. She will share enlightening stories of two family members and their battle with cancer. She states, “My passion is to share hope for people and their health.” Vickie will also speak on why your genes and your DNA do not have to be your destiny.
Another speaker, Ellen Schlichting, RN, will bring her insights from her 40+ years as a health care professional and her personal experience. As a nurse, her focus was on helping people who were sick, now she educates people to prevent disease and enjoy health and vitality. She is passionate about helping you understand how to take control of your health and your family’s – and why it is imperative that you do so!
Health Stories
What is one of the first symptoms of a heart attack? Answer: INSTANT DEATH! This happens to one third of individuals who have one. Come hear the story of a heart attack survivor that was blessed with a second chance. Learn about the changes that he made which enabled him, 15 years later, to be "heart healthy" with no further problems, normal lab tests, and NO heart medication.
Hear the story of a lady with liver cancer that was sent home on pain meds waiting to die. There was nothing more the medical community could do for her. Yet, she is alive and has more energy and feels better than she has in a long time.
Another story is of a mom's battle with her son's brain tumor. He was diagnosed at the age of three, and went through a lot of treatment from the medical field. He was not expected to live to his fifth birthday, but now he is eight. When I first saw him, he was in his wheelchair, had a feeding tube in his stomach, was not able to talk, and was having 3-5 seizures a day. There has been a lot of ups and downs, but now he is walking and eating, and the seizures are greatly reduced.
At our meeting, My Journey to Health, our goal is to teach you that chronic diseases are not inevitable and that there are effective ways that will slow down aging. We want you to understand how to support your immune system and protect your DNA, and we want to give HOPE to those who are suffering. At this meeting, you will walk away with practical tools for a healthier lifestyle, longevity, and less stress.
You don't want to miss this meeting, and we encourage you to bring anyone you care for.
