Are Vaccinations Safe?
As we prepare our children for school, we want to do everything possible to assure they are in the best health–and stay that way, especially since they will be with other children. We certainly don't want them to catch anything! Public schools require children to be vaccinated, but the question remains: Are vaccinations effective, and more importantly, are they safe? Let's look at some hard core facts.
Some facts you should know
In 1976, children received 10 vaccines before attending school, yet today they will receive over 36. In the early 1980s, the incidence of autism was 1 in 10,000 births. By 2005, the incidence had leaped to 1 in 250 births, and today it is 1 in 150 births and still climbing.
Speaking about childhood vaccinations, Russell L. Blaylock, M.D. states that the medical establishment has created a term to affirm their authority of medical wisdom, "evidence-based medicine", yet a careful examination of many of the accepted treatments reveals that most have little or no scientific evidence-based data to support it. One often repeated study found that almost 80 percent of medical practice had NO scientific backing. Yet, when the alternative side produce study after study, they either ignore the evidence or say that it is insufficient.
In the book, Vaccines: Are They Really Safe & Effective?, the author Neil Z. Miller states, "The general public is unaware of the true number of people (mostly children) who have been permanently damaged or killed by one or more of the vaccines. Every year about 25,000 reports of adverse reactions to vaccines are made to the FDA. These figures include emergency hospitalizations, irreversible injuries, and death. Still, these numbers may be grossly under reported because the FDA estimates that 90% of doctors do not report reactions."
Dr. David Kessler, former director of the FDA states, "Only about one percent of serious events [adverse drug reactions] are reported." The general public is also unaware of the amount of money awarded in these cases. In the last few years, more than $2 BILLION had already been granted for thousands of injuries and deaths caused by mandated vaccines. Awards are issued for permanent injuries that included learning disabilities, seizure disorders, mental retardation, paralysis, and numerous deaths, including many that were initially misclassified as sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS). (p. 102)
Miller further explains that there is a special tax on vaccines that corresponds to what is estimated to pay for injuries and death resulting from that vaccine. This fee is paid by the consumer. This actually means that parents pay the doctor for vaccines, in which some of the money goes to cover for their child IF he suffers a severe or fatal vaccine reaction. (p. 102)
There is much evidence associating autoimmune disorders and autism with immunization. I encourage parents to research and make intelligent decisions regarding vaccinating their child. Here are some resources to help you:
