Hi, Friends!

Is it just me, or is the summer flying by? I've been lying low for the last couple months, working on large, custom wall hangings. It's calm, meditative work -- lots of sanding, staining, and waxing by hand. My neighbors at Harmonic Brewing actually just hung a few of my pieces in their taproom -- if you're in the Dogpatch, swing by for a beer and a quick peek!

If you think your office or home could use a geometric steel wall hanging, email me and let's discuss! I'm taking custom orders now.

The Mood Meter
I recently did a custom piece with an extra special backstory: Two of my mom's colleagues hired me to make an anniversary gift for my own parents -- as a surprise! They work at the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence, and they asked me to create a piece that represented the Mood Meter, which is one of the central tools in their emotional intelligence curriculum. It's a two-by-two graph that helps people identify and articulate their emotions. Check out this blog post to learn how I turned a simple graph into a piece of art.

New Works on Display at Harmonic Brewing

Two of my pieces are now on display at Harmonic Brewing in San Francisco! Harmonic is a fantastic craft brewery in the Dogpatch that makes a number of interesting and seasonal beers. Their taproom is open to the public five nights a week, and it's become my favorite place to unwind after a long day in the metal shop (we're neighbors). If you're on this side of town, come by for a drink, some cheesy popcorn, and a peek at these two wall hangings!

Renegade Craft Fair Recap
Renegade Craft Fair is one of my all-time favorite fairs in San Francisco -- the work is beautiful, the space at Fort Mason is stunning, and the vibe is fun. And for the very first time, I got to participate as a seller rather than as a shopper! Check out my recap from their spring fair.
