Global Friends Fr. Jerry and Stacy Kramer visit this Sunday

We have a full day planned for the Kramers with Love for the Least Ministry this Sunday. Fr. Jerry will be preaching at both 8 & 10.

Then during A Time in the Word, Fr. Jerry and Stacy will share with us what has been going on with their ministry in Iraq, which includes Threads of Blessing and the Advent Conspiracy.

On Sunday evening from 6-8pm, together, the Kramers will offer a special presentation on Oils of Ancient Scripture. God's love demonstrated through His creation.
Join us for an eye-opening evening of fellowship, discussion and amazing truths revealed from Scripture about our wellness and essential oils.

Please reach out to Tapley for information for how to get involved.
7 Signs from the Gospel of John

We heard from Fr. Craige last week about the 1st sign, A wedding at Cana and Jesus turning water into wine.
There is a study sheet to go along with each Sign for your personal study or for Home Groups to discuss. If you missed picking one up last week, get one from the information desk in the Narthex this Sunday or here for an online copy.
Our freezer is empty and it is time for COOKIES!

In support of the Kairos Prison Ministry, CSP provides home baked cookies for the inmates during the Kairos Weekend at Ridgeland Correctional Institute.

Cookie Dough Needed!
To help, donate a batch of your favorite cookie dough or purchase the pre made dough.
The Youth have offered to bake the cookies for us on their next Youth service day on October 5th. So between now and Oct. 5th, we are asking for cookie dough to be brought to the church and placed in our freezer.
Thank you from Wesley United Methodist Church

Friends from Wesley U.M. worshiped with us last Sunday and brought a Thank You Plaque for hosting their Luther Barns Concert. It was a wonderful evening when our community came together, filling the sanctuary with Spirit filled gospel music. When Ms. Loretta presented Fr. Craige with the plaque, she expressed her thankfulness for new friends in Christ and offered their help in the future if we were in need - "Just give us a call".
The children will spend this week learning about a few ways they can SLLRP up God's Word and teachings. KidZone is going to begin SLLRP-ing, or practicing 5 'I can' statements!

I can Stay Safe.
I can Listen.
I can Learn.
I can Respect.
I can Participate.
Moms and Dads, please help by encouraging your children to SLLRP not just in KidZone but in all areas of their lives.
Last Sunday, the children of KidZone had a wonderful time at their very own Wedding at Cana complete with wedding cupcakes and lemonade 'wine.'

Soul Keeping

by John Ortberg has begun but it is not too late to join in on Monday evenings at 6:30pm

If you need help ordering your book and study guide, please talk to Cindee Pratt or Nancy Borrett.
The soul is the coolest, eeriest, most mysterious, sacred, eternal, life-directing, fragile, indestructible, controversial dimension of your existence. Jesus said it’s worth more than the world.
