7 Signs from the Gospel of John

This Sunday we will hear about the 3rd sign from the 5th chapter of John. Jesus healing a paralyzed man at the Pool on the Sabbath.
Don't forget to grab a study sheet from the information desk in the Narthex on Sunday.

We are so excited to have Fr. Mark with us for the week! 
The CSP Family is keeping him very busy. First, a trip to the movie theater for popcorn and to see The Lion King. Then the Global Missions team helped him celebrate his birthday on Oct. 1st. with a Birthday Cook-Out complete with cake! This morning, he attended the Healing Service at Christ Church. Fr. Mark will also be at the Night of Worship this Friday to offer a special time of prayer and healing with laying on of hands.  Fr. Mark will conclude his visit with the CSP Family as our guest preacher on Sunday at both the 8am and 10am services
This Healing Service is offered every Thursday Morning at Historic Christ Church in Adams Run. The service includes Communion, Prayers for those on our prayer list, and a discussion about the Gospel lesson for the week. Please join us, we would love for you to attend.

Night Of Worship
Friday, October 4th, 6:30-7:30pm
 This is a beautiful opportunity for the whole family. We will dive deep into worship, teaching, and prayer ministry. After the message, Father Mark from Nigeria will lead a time of prayer ministry while the worship team offers extended worship.

Join us immediately after the service outside to purchase dinner from a local food truck  & fellowship.
 
 Child care will be provided during the service. 
Sunday, the children will SLLRP up more of God's Word and go back in time to The Healing at the Pool on the Sabbath. The pool in the MegaZone is ready and waiting for the children to arrive to learn about the 3rd Sign in John.

Next Sunday, while Andrew is away with the Jr. High Youth at Mondo, All Sr. High Youth and their parents are invited to a special time with Fr. Craige to talk about ministry and serving. 

Join him immediately after the 10am service for a brief gathering. Plan on being done by 12:55 so you can still keep your lunch plans. We will provide a snack and really hope everyone can attend.

CAREGIVERS WORKSHOP began Wednesday, Oct. 2nd.

Powerful Tools for Caregivers is a program designed to give you the skills to take care of yourself while caring for someone else. By taking care of your own health an well-being, you become a better caregiver. You will benefit from this class whether you are helping a parent, spouse, or friend who lives at home, in a nursing home, or across the country.
This class meets weekly at CSP on Wednesday for six weeks beginning October 2nd, ending on November 6th. Workshop is FREE but registration is required. The class size is limited so call today if interested.
