March Newsletter

This month, we celebrate Women's History Month and all the amazing women in our lives and in the world. We acknowledge the strength and beauty of womanhood, however you define it to be.

In light of the current COVID-19 concerns, we also want to take this opportunity to share insights from our Clinical Team to address the anxiety surrounding the illness, especially for the new mothers or mothers-to-be in our community. The well-being of our patients, staff and the families of our community, both local and global, is our highest priority and as such we are offering telehealth appointments. For more information, please call (212) 939-7200 and please remember to be kind to each other during these uncertain times.

Remember to keep up with Seleni events and announcements through
Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Perinatal Mood & Anxiety Disorders (PMADs) affect at least 1 in 5 mothers, and they affect almost half of all mothers from low-socioeconomic backgrounds. Seleni's Maternal Mental Health Intensive program trains professionals to effectively screen, diagnose and treat women suffering from PMADs and grief from perinatal loss.
