Tues, Feb 1st, the City of Miami Beach is hosting a Zoom Meeting to discuss upcoming neighborhood projects and to answer general zoning questions.
Please send your questions to wavna305@gmail.com. For example, everyone wants to know about the renovation at Bikini Hostel and why the required privacy fence is missing.
West Avenue Street Project and Pump Station Tues, Jan 4th, join the Design Review Board (DRB) meeting where aesthetic plans for West Avenue streetscape and pump station will be reviewed. Public input is allowed. DRB will make comments, suggestions, and approve or disapprove of the design.

Mooring Field
Thurs, Jan 6th, 6:00 pm – Zoom hosted by City to discuss the draft mooring field feasibility study. Learn how a boat mooring field can improve water quality, protect seagrasses and better regulate boats anchoring in Biscayne Bay near our neighborhood. Commission Meetings Wed, Jan 12th, Special Commission meeting about 2AM alcohol and exemptions. WAvNA has urged the commission to allow NO exemptions near our neighborhood, from the east side of Alton Rd to Biscayne Bay.
