Know Stroke Podcast

We regularly receive requests to help share opportunities for people affected by stroke to get involved in research. We have now added to the events section on Stroke Connector to include opportunities for engagement.

The Know Stroke Podcast is co-hosted by David Dansereau and Michael Garrow. They interview those involved in stroke research, treatment and advocacy. In the latest episode WSO's International Development Manager, Sarah Belson, talks about the global SSO network.

European Life after Stroke Forum

We are delighted to see members of the SSO network, Jotham Johnson from Sierra Leone and Joseph Rukelibuga from Rwanda, share their stories in the NCD Diaries. This is an initiative from the NCD Alliance to share lived experiences to drive change.

Stroke Alliance for Europe (SAFE) recently hosted the successful European Life after Stroke Forum. SAFE Director General, Arlene Wilkie, wrote a blog about the event and the new report 'A life saved is a life worth living'.
