We're pleased to bring you the first Stroke Connector update in 2023. This year we hope to share even more stroke advocacy and support resources from around the world on our online hub. We will continue to raise the visibility of people with lived experience of stroke, their recovery journeys and contribution to improving stroke care and support.

Stroke support organisations all around the world got behind the #PreciousTime message of the world Stroke Day Campaign in 2022. You can take a look at the reports of World Stroke Day events in Slovenia, North Macedonia and Bulgaria on Stroke Connector. Stroke survivors all over the world are developing tools and resources to support others in their recovery journey. This month we have added links to Stacie Broek's website with tools to support recovery and Terence Ang's Grateful Steps platform, including news of his latest book 'Emerging from the Dark'. 

The 2022 World Stroke Congress was an important opportunity to ensure we heard from people in the region with lived experience of stroke as well as from SSOs and their community programmes.
