The pruning in our lives
Always bears fruit.
Operation Declutter Continues!
A big thank you to all who have pitched in! So far we have tackled the Community Room area and the office downstairs, which will be rented by the Conference’s District Office. And in addition, the Retrograss/Nights of Ni have done a big outdoor cleanup around our Sacred Space, so many thanks to Catherine for spearheading that effort! Your next opportunities for assistance are:
  • Declutter III: Monday, May 3 from 9:00 a.m.–12:00 noon. Focus will be the “Stage C Store room.”
  • Declutter IV: Saturday, May 8 from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. Continuation of downstairs project. Please click here to sign up on the Announcements page, or contact Mary, Many hands make light work!

Cameron needs your help! With Zoom and social distancing guiding our lives, it is easy to forget that it takes a lot of work to keep Cameron going! We could use your help with the following:
  • create simple videos of our worship from the full Zoom recording
  • maintain our website by updating content
  • make small repairs or manage simple projects to keep the building running smoothly.
Send a note to with your skills and interest, and we will make sure your note gets to the right committee!

Summer Holiday Weekend Worship Schedule
So that the entire Cameron community (members, staff, and clergy) may enjoy the spiritual practices of renewal during a long weekend and the sacredness of
sabbath and renewal from time to time, we will
offer corporate worship on Thursday nights at 7 p.m. in lieu of Sunday mornings during long holiday weekends. Also, for your personal study, we invite you to read and reflect on Genesis 2:23 and Mark 2:2728, two ancient wisdom references regarding the gifts of sabbath. To help you plan for these special times, the summer holiday worship schedule is below:
Memorial Day weekendThursday, May 27
Independence Day weekendThursday, July 1
Labor Day weekendThursday, September 2

What is a Cameron Trustee? This important committee is responsible for every aspect of our Sacred Space, from changing light bulbs to coordinating roof repairs. When we resume in-person worship we will have a lot of opportunities to support online worship! There is a LOT going on! If any of this sounds like you can lend a hand or have expertise, send a note to to learn more and join the team!
