First edition: Sting Test Drive - Deeptech

Sting Test Drive is the next step for those who have an early Deeptech startup and want to build a company that addresses important societal problems with advanced, cutting-edge technology. The program consists of evening workshops that are focusing on business-critical areas such as business models, sales strategies, barriers to entry, internationalization, financing options, leadership, etc.

Five new companies selected to Sting Incubate

Five new and carefully selected startups have joined the Sting Incubate program. The companies have business ideas spanning a wide range of innovations, from a premium platform for quality articles and components for lasers with new wavelengths, to leadership training and bag collection in tight environments. The companies that are admitted to Sting represent less than 10 percent of all applicants. 

The five new Sting Incubate companies are Freightbag, Gazzine, Monocular, Tailored Photons and V3VO.

iCellate raises 23 MSEK 

iCellate Medical has completed a successful new share issue in collaboration with advisors at Southwik. The oversubscribed share issue, which brings the company just over SEK 23 million, attracted capital from both existing and new shareholders. iCellate’s vision is to detect cancer early, when it can still be cured, and to guide individual therapies.
PerceptiLabs raises 20 MSEK 

PerceptiLabs offers a unique drag-and-drop platform that allows you easily build complex AI/machine learning models without having to code. Recently, the company raised 20 MSEK from Luminar Ventures, Brightly Ventures and angel investors. PerceptiLabs has also moved its HQ to Silicon Valley where the company's most of its customers are based.
APPRL ranks as Sweden's 3rd fastest-growing tech company 

Deloitte’s Technology Fast50 is ranking Sweden’s fastest-growing tech companies, based on revenue growth in the past 3 years. During 2015-2018, APPRL has been growing 4591% which ranked APPRL, the company providing performance-based influencer marketing for e-commerce, to third place
Kavalri Games raises capital from Coffee Stain and Goodbye Kansas Game Invest 

Game studio Kavalri Games raises 3 MSEK to further develop "Equestrian the horse game", for mobile. The game will be beta-launched in 2020. The investment by Coffee Stain Studios is a part of their "Leveling the playing field" initiative that aims to improve the gender balance among game developers.
