Citizenship-by-Investment Updates
December 2015

Dear Valued Partner,
With great pleasure we would like to introduce an addition to the CSL portfolio – The Citizenship-by-Investment Program of the Commonwealth of Dominica. CSL has been officially licensed by the Government as an authorized representative of the Citizenship-by-Investment Program and as such we are now processing applications for citizenship of Dominica.
The Dominica citizenship program was established in 1993, being one of the longest running programs of its kind in the world. Earlier this year, the Program was re-vamped and re-launched, making it one of the most efficient and by far the most cost-effective Citizenship-by-Investment solutions worldwide. Over the past 6 months CSL has tested the Program and today we are confident to recommend it to our clients and partners.

Program highlights:

Similar to St. Kitts & Nevis and Antigua & Barbuda, in exchange for lifetime citizenship of the Commonwealth of Dominica, investors may either:
  • purchase Government approved real estate, or
  • make a donation to the Government Fund
You can find a full list of investment and eligibility requirements here:
Dominica Citzenship-by-Investment Program Requirements & Fees.
The Commonwealth of Dominica is boasting a remarkably unspoiled natural beauty, along with a wide variety of flora, fauna and extensive natural park system, a heaven for hikers and photographers.
It’s important to note, that Dominica has a unique set of restricted nationalities. Unlike St. Kitts or Antigua, Dominica’s Citizenship-by-Investment Program accepts applications from nationals of Iran, Afghanistan and Syria. For a full list of restricted nationalities please contact CSL advisors today.

Full lifetime citizenship is granted once the application is approved in principle approximately 60-90 days from the date of submission, which makes Dominica’s Citizenship-by-Investment Program one of the fastest in the world.
There is no physical residency requirement associated with the program; your passport is valid for 10 years and is easily renewable. For more details on the Program please visit Dominica Citizenship Benefits.

St. Kitts & Nevis suspends citizens and residents of Syria from its Citizenship-by-Investment Program

In its ongoing efforts to re-calibrate its Citizenship-by-Investment Program, on November 24, 2015 the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis has announced the immediate suspension of processing of new applications from citizens and residents of Syria.

Prime Minister, The Honourable Dr. Timothy Harris stated "our international partners can be assured that St. Kitts and Nevis will remain vigilant in the global effort to maintain peace and security for all. Our country is and will remain a trusted partner in this effort".

The Government of Antigua and Barbuda is also "actively considering" excluding Syrian citizens from its Citizenship-by-Investment Program. In a recent interview, the Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda stated that "it is not only about securing our national security interest, but those of our neighbours". As such, the Government will continue to review the program in relation to global occurrences.

The Government of the Commonwealth of Dominica has made no announcements on changes to its Citizenship-by-Investment Program to date and is still open to applications from Syrian citizens.

Introducing the Royal Dominica Hotel

We are pleased to introduce the Royal Dominica Hotel, the island's premier full ownership resort development that is also Citizenship-by-Investment approved.
The development is being offered by the experienced developer of the Royal St. Kitts Hotel - one of St. Kitts' oldest and most successful resorts in operation.  With a proven track record of both developing and operating resorts in the Caribbean for over 30 years, we anticipate that the Royal Dominica Hotel will be equally successful.
