Medicine Shippped to Suffering Venezuelans
Venezuelans are suffering from a critical shortage of medicine. People are at risk of dying for lack of them. We are responding to the need. In collaboration with Health Partners International of Canada (HPIC), we successfully shipped several cases of medicine to Venezuela. But one shipment is not enough to meet the dire need. We intend to ship more medication as soon as possible. We urgently ask for your help to respond to this crisis.

Yvonne’s Success Story at Llomba School, Bingerville, Ivory Coast
Inspired by her courses in pasrty-making at Llomba School in Bingerville, Yvonne began her own baking business within weeks of entering the school. Under the close supervision of her instructor and using one of the school’s recipes, Yvonne spent her Christmas holidays baking and selling pastries. She raised $6.80. A small sum in the eyes of Canadians but, for a young girl from a village in Ivory Coast, this is a remarkable accomplishment. Quite rightly, Yvonne is excited by the success of her initiative. It shows how personal drive can flourish under the right guidance.

Llomba School provides academic instruction and training in culinary arts such as pastry-making. The students learn entrepreneurial and social skills. The graduates are well-equipped to find employment and to help support their families.
A new program aims to give boys and young men in Lebanon hope for the future. Their country has not been spared the trouble and dislocation of the crisis in the Middle East. A three-stage program is underway to provide personal and skills training that will help boys and young men become the leaders of the future. A spacious building in which to conduct the activities is nearing completion. But a building alone is not enough. With your help, LINCCO will provide funds for items such as a gymnasium and multimedia equipment for the new Lebanese Citizens Centre.
On Sunday, March 10, 150 people gathered for a wide-ranging concert of musical talent with the goal of raising funds for LINCCO's scholarships for young women studying at Punlaan School in the Philippines. The concert brought in $3,000 which will cover scholarships for transportation and class supplies for six more young female students. Since 2016, LINCCO has raised more than $30,000 for Punlaan students－ enough to sponsor 60 students.
