Event Invitation | Yangon | Myanmar Real Estate and Construction Breakfast Briefing
You are invited to a panel discussion on the current Real Estate and Construction Market in Myanmar.
The Myanmar government has entered 2019 with an election less than two years away, and has a clearly renewed push to improve economic conditions. Various measures have been taken in the first half of the year to signal an economically driven vision, including the long awaited move to allow foreign investors into the market, a high profile investment summit and the release of the Project Bank.
However, despite the recent economic push, questions remain about how much change can reasonably be accomplished, particularly in real estate. The market is slowly recovering, albeit at much lower price points than in the past. This panel will aim to illuminate what improvements might be made in the lead up to the election and beyond, and how the market might react to this uncertain future.
