At the August meeting, everyone completed a survey to discover preferences for topics for the upcoming year; results are below.

September 28 Meeting Topics

New Food Items: Do you have a product, fresh or packaged, to share? Ex: I'm bringing packaged riced cauliflower and corn/quinoa pasta.

Spiralizer Demonstration: I will bring a spiraliizer + zucchini from my garden. You bring any recipes or experiences you have had using a spiralizer.

Salad Dressings: Bring a favorite recipe. I will demonstrate my balsamic vinaigrette recipe. Also, Forks Over Knives now is selling their brand.

October 26 Meeting Topics

In preparation for November + December holidays:
  • Spices & Herbs (with Roberta & Donna)
  • Sweet potatoes + yams
  • Desserts
  • Meat-free holiday meals

1) Sweet potato tacos, Noodles in ginger/garlic sauce, & Chocolate chip pancakes from Forks Over Knives Family cookbook.
Mayonnaise for Lulu's mock chicken salad (zucchini, rice vinegar, walnuts, & cranberries in lettuce boat).
3) Here's a recipe for a
Spicy Thai dressing that I'm going to try!
