Josh Eck Kicks Off OHSPRA’s New Quarterly Virtual Events

OHSPRA’s first ever members only digital workshop was a truly memorable event featuring Josh Eck, Communication Director for Ohio Lt. Governor John Husted.
On the afternoon of September 21, OHSPRA members logged into the free Zoom event to hear Eck’s insights on the importance of strategy, planning, and teamwork when communicating during a global pandemic. Eck talked about his background in communications, how he became part of Husted's team and shared stories about what it is like to assist a public figure in preparing for press conferences, the closing of schools, issuing stay-at-home orders, reopening plans and more.
OHSPRA would like to say a big “thank you” to Josh Eck for headlining the event, and to our event sponsor ParentSquare. For more information about ParentSquare, contact Nathan Ericson at
More quarterly virtual events are in the works and will be announced soon. If you have a topic idea for a quarterly event or know someone who might be interested in sponsorship opportunities for as little as $500, please direct them to OHSPRA Director of Partnerships Crystal Davis at

Please take a moment to browse through these resources and repurpose them for your own needs. We would also like to see your work shared here, too. Email your items to and we will add them to this resource page. Visit
