OSBA offers tools to help districts honor their board members
January is School Board Recognition Month and the Ohio School Boards Association is providing districts a variety of resources to help them thank board members for their service.

OSBA is providing a Web-based resource kit that includes tips on ways to honor board members; sample news releases, editorials, newsletter articles, public service announcements and resolutions; and a poster with the 2015 theme, “School Boards Strengthen Public Education." Each school district will be mailed personalized certificates that can be presented to board members at recognition events.

OSBA is asking school districts to let it know how they celebrate School Board Recognition Month. The association plans to publish the information in its Journal magazine and online. Further details are available on the OSBA website.
