Benchmarking
– Round 2 with Dr. Al Bates, the Profit Survey & Report
ISD is again participating in the Al Bates Profit Survey and Report for 2017. Not only was there a strong response in 2016, but feedback from his sessions at the Summit was very positive, and Al is now offering a year-over-year comparison and dashboard for those who participate two years in a row. Fees will remain the same at $149 per company – cheap at twice the price! Stay tuned for more details.

Metallic Gasket Market Report
Demand for metallic gaskets is forecast to advance 4.7 percent per year through 2020 to $2.2 billion, slowing from the robust pace of the 2010-2015 period but continuing to outperform nonmetallic gaskets as metallic gaskets continue to supplant nonmetallics in a number of applications. 2017 Summit Update
– note GFA dates for 2017 as well
Staff is hard at work strategizing for the 2017 Summit in Nashville. ISD has also been in touch with GFA whose member meeting is also in Nashville that week. We have determined that program overlap is minimal, and attendees who would normally attend both meetings can now take advantage of one trip for both events. In addition, we are coming up with some creative options for leveraging the co-location – stay tuned for more developments.
