RIPESS at the WSF 2016, 9-14 August, 2016

The next World Social Forum will be held in Montreal from 9 to 14 August.

Under the first theme of the WSF " Economic, social and solidarity alternatives  against the capitalist crisis" RIPESS organizes two activities: first a crossed perspective between continents on the challenges and opportunities in the construction of the SSE movement (Africa, Latin America, Europe and North America) and an activity on Social and Solidarity Economy in Latin America. As per today GSEF has registered participants from over 50 countries and government representatives from nearly 250 international cities. Register to the working group organized by RIPESS at GSEF2016 : Collaborations & international synergies for SSE 

The Intercontinental RIPESS network is responsible for the coordination of a working group in September at the GSEF2016 Forum that will focus on fostering synergies between organizations / networks that are working on supporting SSE. Many different organizations are now working on different aspects of SSE, and it seems important to join forces and ensure a stronger impact, by building greater cooperation and synergies between us. It will also contribute to making the important role that SSE plays more visible. Read more
