In this issue: Choirs and Covid-19 beyond the restrictions / The Next Big Thing / Spring SingFests / All-comers singing opportunity in Auckland / John Rosser reports on the 2022 IFCM General Assembly and World Choral Expo / Catch up on Choral Connect '21 with Dr. Opeloge Ah Sam
Kia ora<<First Name>>,

What a difference a month can make! Since our last eBreve, almost all Covid restrictions have been lifted and masks are now only mandated in health care settings. Nonetheless, we remain conscious of the higher risks associated with choral singing - and the fact that infections are on the rise again - and have refreshed our Covid advice for choirs accordingly.

Opportunities to sing together are blossoming this spring, and you’ll find details in this eBreve of upcoming ‘sing-ins’ in Wellington, Palmerston North and West Auckland for you or your choir to take part in.

Also in this month’s newsletter, John Rosser reports on his recent trip to Lisbon for the World Choral Expo and the General Assembly of the International Federation for Choral Music (IFCM), plus we look back on Choral Connect ’21 and share a presentation by Dr Opeloge Ah Sam on Engaging Pasifika Music.
