Are you ready for the largest Independence Day celebration in South Florida? Residents and visitors of all ages can enjoy the biggest and best fireworks display in South Florida, three stages of entertainment with concerts, a patriotic ceremony and kid’s entertainment and tons of activities along the Waterfront.
Get Ready To Be Entertained:
The Meyer Amphitheater stage will feature local favorite, Pocket Change, the 13th Army Band from the Florida National Guard, Atlantic recording artist, Jacquie Lee, and local pop/rock/soul band, Chemradery.
The Palm stage will feature country acts including The Redlands, The Silver Spurs Dance Team, Samantha Russell and the Andrew Morris Band.
The Post Park stage will have tons of kid-friendly entertainment with DJs spinning tunes all night and giant puppets by Bits ‘N Pieces Puppet Theatre.

All Eyes On The Sky:
The fireworks show will fill the sky for 18 minutes starting at 9 p.m. Pyrotechnics synched to music will illuminated the Intracoastal Waterway.

War Games
Your Independence Day Weekend just got better. See a true Battle of the Armed Forces at the 1st Annual War Games in Downtown West Palm Beach. This fitness competition and expo is free to attend. Bring the family and enjoy a CrossFit-style competition, display of military operation vehicles, patriotic opening, kid’s activities and MORE!

David Pantone of Lincoln Culinary Institute, Leslie Streeter of the Palm Beach Post and Alyson Seligman, editor of The Average Girl’s Guide judged Feast of the Sea’s Chef Challenge #1 held at Wine Scene and awarded DowntownWPB’s Chef Fritz Cassel of Hullabaloo as the winner with his dish, Quinoa crusted Smoked Tuna with Smoked Mushrooms and Charred Asparagus. Congrats to him and his team!
Chef Cassel will join the 3 additional winners of the upcoming Chef Challenge's and 2014 Champion, Eugenio Santucci of Ristorante Santucci on October 23rd for the finale and crowning of the Feast of the Sea’s 2015 Maestro del Mar. For more information, please visit

Last Week Of The Pool
This week is the last week to jump into “The Pool.” Enjoy The Pool every night on the Waterfront from 7-11p.m. now thru July 4th on the Waterfront. Bring the family out and experience glowing evening of fun in DowntownWPB. 
Gracie Barra Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Summer Camp
The martial arts summer camp, open to children ages 5 to 14 year old, is still accepting signups. This camp offers an amazing combination of martial arts instruction, life skills, self-defense skills, team work, fitness, and lots of fun. No prior martial arts experience is required!
When: Monday, July 6th – Friday, July 10th from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

New Smart Meters Coming Soon…
The City of West Palm Beach revealed that 1,000 new solar-powered smart meters are to be installed! Check out the first look. Park with one easy swipe. Yes, these meters will accept credit cards and coins in DowntownWPB to provide more payment options for customers.  The smart meters will be deployed in most short-term parking spaces in DowntownWPB. Smart meter installation will begin in mid-July of 2015 and is expected to continue into August.  An additional 600 will begin installation in January of 2016. The City anticipates developing an app in 2016 that will direct drivers to places where they are most likely to find available parking.

2015 3D Student Summer Exhibition
This exhibition will feature work by Armory students in the ceramics, glass, jewelry, and sculpture. The opening reception will take place on Friday, July 10 from 6-8 p.m. in the East Gallery. Wine and hors d’oeuvres will be served. Exhibitions are free and open to the public. Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

There will be limited access into the downtown off of Banyan Blvd. on Saturday, July 4th between 9 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Docks will be open on a first come first serve basis but there will be no entering or leaving the docks between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. due to the fireworks.
