Hello and welcome to my first ever newsletter. Firstly thank you for signing up to hear about my latest musical adventures. I'm writing this to you from Darwin, Australia, preparing to board the Diamond Princess tomorrow to head towards Sydney via a few of my all time favourite ports...Port Douglas, Airlie Beach, Brisbane and Sydney. It's a special cruise for me as I'm turning 30 on the 7th of December and so I've dragged my girlfriend Samantha along with me to celebrate. Although I am a little concerned...my friends got together and bought me a sky diving ticket, and my parents are sending me cage diving with great white sharks off the South Australian coast, which brings me to the conclusion that my friends and family are not too concerned with my welfare to put it lightly! So far this year has brought a lot of surprises, fun times onboard ships, great orchestras to perform with and amazing ports to explore. A highlight for me was visiting Komodo Island, Indonesia. It's a place I never thought I would visit, but have always seen documentaries on the dragons etc and found it so interesting. Whilst at Komodo Island I did a walking tour and were lucky enough to see a few dragons... (Photo: Komodo Dragon below!)

I've been working as a solo guest entertainer for just on 12 months now and I've loved it. I've always loved travel and music and so this job combines my two loves for me. It's been so great to meet people from every country in the world and all walks of life, amazing orchestras, production teams and friendly crew.

Samantha and I will be spending Christmas and New Years Eve onboard the Azamara Quest which will be cruising throughout Asia. It's always hard to be away from family at this time of year but I couldn't resist the ships' itinerary and the opportunity to perform on a new cruise line!
2015 is going to bring a lot of new things for me, the release of my first album in the next few months, plus single releases of my own compositions to follow shortly after my album, new cruise lines including Regent Seven Seas and Oceania, more video clips to be uploaded online, a blog, video blog and a new apartment in my home town of Newcastle Australia with the move set for January...busy days once we get back from our Azamara Christmas and New Years cruise / work!!
