EMERGE Students Get Interview Experience at Mock Interview Day
Close to 100 professionals volunteered their time to interview EMERGE students in preparation for interviews with college admissions representatives. Volunteers received a brief orientation, participated in several rounds of interviews with students, and had the opportunity to provide individualized feedback to each student. 2016-2017 EMERGE Mentor Program Dinner
Last month, we launched the 2016-2017 mentor program. EMERGE students joined their mentors for an exciting night of dinner and mentoring at Ouisie's Table. Through the mentor program, EMERGE seniors are paired with Houston area professionals who provide advice on college, career, job shadowing opportunities, and much more. We are thankful to the many professionals in the Houston area who have volunteered to mentor EMERGE students this year and to Laura and John Arnold for sponsoring the mentor program. Volunteer Opportunity: College Scholar Summit, Professional Networking Luncheon
