ABEL INVESTIGATOR: Dr. Samie Jaffrey, the Greenberg-Starr Professor of pharmacology, has received the 2017 John J. Abel Award in Pharmacology from the American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics.

OUTSTANDING INVESTIGATOR: Meyer director Lewis Cantley will receive $4.2 million over 7 years to continue his research into PI3K and cancer metabolism.


YOUNG INVESTIGATOR: Loredana Puca, Ph.D., a researcher working with Himisha Beltran, M.D., and Mark Rubin, M.D. received a Lori Milken–PCF Young Investigator Award from the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
