Dear friends,

After a long period in which the Asia-Pacific region was not represented in the Steering Committe, three new members from this region got elected in the Steering Committee. Daisy Ann Loreann from Philippines, Mansur Ahmad from Bangladesh and Zane McCarthy from New Zealand. To see all current members of the Steering Committee, please check our website.

During the past few months, the Steering Committee have been very busy, especially working on funding the next GYG Congress.

We are also working on future mobilisations for our Green goals, especially towards the United Nations Climate Conference that will take place in Paris in December. Together with the whole global civil society, we need to put pressure on global leaders in favour of an ambitious binding climate agreeement.

If your organisation is not on the list, don't worry! Just ask the legal representative of your organisation to fill the form here.

GYG Steering Committee will vote on each candidate's membership before the end of April. Make sure you've applied!
