JTNN Welcomes Newest Team Member

JTNN has added a new member to its team and is excited to have him introduce himself!

Patrick George, Intern

Hello! My name is Patrick George and I'm excited to be JTNN's newest intern. I was raised in Palmer, Alaska and moved to Reno a year ago. I enjoy skiing, mountain biking, and trail running. I have an interest in preventative medicine and substance abuse treatment and have worked in pharmacy as a pharmacy technician in both retail and hospital settings since 2008. I am currently employed at a retail pharmacy.

I am enrolled at the University of Nevada, Reno in the Community Health Sciences (CHS) bachelors of science program.  After finishing the CHS program at UNR, I plan on applying to Physician Assistant school.

JTNN interested me because substance abuse is a problem that not only harms the user, but also the people surrounding them. While at JTNN I hope to lean more about community based strategies that address substance abuse related problems as well as smaller scale provider interventions.

Save the Date:
JTNN All-Coalition Meeting

The next JTNN All-Coalition meeting will be held on Thursday, November 3 at 10 a.m. at the Washoe County Administrative Center, 1001 E. 9th Street, Reno, Building C, in the Central Conference Room.

For more information, please call 775-324-7557.
