Fall edition

Dear reader, happy fall! We sincerely hope that you are enjoying the breezier weather and have had a great start to fall 2022. We sure have, and we are excited to continue at the lightning speed that we’re going.

September started with a bang, as 22 new startups entered the Sting premises. This year Sting accepted more companies than ever before, and yet the acceptance rate was surprisingly less than 10%. The quality of these innovative ideas was just beyond everyone’s expectations.

Furthermore, among the new startups, a large proportion is female, both founders, and CEOs. 9 out of 10 startups with high-tech innovations have at least one female founder and 6 out of 10 deeptech startups have a female CEO.

It’s truly something we are proud of as it has been a goal for Sting, to improve the gender balance in every aspect possible.

We’re grateful and humbled to be entrusted to work with these incredibly smart individuals and be part of their journey to success.

While you’re sipping on your pumpkin-spiced lattes,
let me get you up to speed on what has been happening here at the Sting headquarters:
