We celebrate female entrepreneurship every day of the year. This month we took the opportunity to shed some extra light on our fantastic female founders.
☝️📈 Since 2017 we started measuring and setting goals for what kind of companies we wanted to help build and the proportion of companies with female founders in our programs.
In 2017, 26% of our companies had at least one female founder. Today 2022 that figure stands at 75% which we are very proud of and shows that diversity and equality are going in the right direction.
⭐👩 Today, the proportion of female founders is one of our most important KPIs and something that permeates the entire business.
The Healthtech startup will use the investment to continue to develop the application. The founding duo Hannah Lindström and Amy Aanen want to help women in menopause to better understand what happens to the body during "the hormonal roller coaster".
"When we were first launched, the attitude was that this was not something you need to put gunpowder on, that this type of problem does not arise in Sweden," says the company's CEO Siam Choudhury.
