DUT HIV/AIDS CENTRE BIDS FAREWELL TO OZIEL MDLETSHE
DUT bid farewell to its Health Promoter and HIV/AIDS activist, Oziel Mdletshe, in an emotional celebration on Monday, 29 February 2016.
“My time at DUT has formed part of my inspiration,” said Mdletshe who has served the University from 1999. “I draw inspiration from not only the community surrounding me but from DUT graduates who had been part of the HIV/AIDS support group,” said Mdletshe.
An international delegation headed by Professor Elmar Volke, Faculty of Mathematics And Natural Sciences Dean, and Dr Lech Suwala, Economic Geography Working Group Representative from the Humboldt University, Berlin, Germany, recently visited DUT in a bid to form a partnership between the two universities.
DUT hosted an Orientation Day to welcome 70 international students from Germany and France, at the Art Gallery at Steve Biko Campus, last week.
The international second, third and post-graduate students are on an exchange programme for a semester period until May 2016, an initiative driven by DUT’s Directorate: International Education and Partnerships (IEP).
